As our OMG journalist was wrapping up her investigation into DNC Compliance Manager Joyce DeCerce, she received an eerie postcard in the mail.
It read, “Maybe stop with the fake profiles.”
Then, in crude Chinese lettering, an offensive slang term was drawn that translates to "Stupid C**t."
While I've been threatened and harassed throughout my career, I've never seen this happen to one of our undercover journalists before, and I take it as pure intimidation.
But it comes with the territory, and it's a big reason why I'm so thankful for the brave men and women participating in OMG's "American Swiper" program.
